Wow! I Totally Would Have Worn This Dress

This dress shocked me – I don’t know what it is about it… the skirt is like a meringue – all light and fluffy. The bodice is perfect, fitted and fabulous, but not too lowcut. I would have seriously worn this dress if I’d found it a year ago – and I’m not the princess-gown kind of girl.

And the price — I can’t believe it’s under $300!

Never Thought I’d Drool Over Shoes

I’ve already got my wedding shoes. Well… I’ve already got 3 separate pairs to be worn on our wedding day. I started with an ivory patent pair, then got a great pair of green leather Ferragamos, and recently added a sweet pair of black satin sling backs.

But, if I didn’t already have those 3, I’d HAVE to get one of these pairs:

Perfect for a purple wedding!
With a shorter dress — so hot!
Look at the toe detail on this beauty! Perfect for a vintage-themed wedding.
And these flats? They may end up being purchased with my holiday bonus. LOVE!

Swoon.

Love This Dress

You’ve got to expect something heavenly from a lingirie designer turned wedding dress designer. Claire Pettibone consistently satisfies my sweet tooth and sets me into dream-mode with her gorgeous, flowy dresses.

Check out this Seraphina design from her spring 2007 collection. I know it’s not the “newest” style of hers, but I just adore the lace, the way it highlights the back (um, this is totally a “must workout” dress) and the flow of the skirt.

How could anyone wear this down the aisle and NOT look like a vision of angelic beauty.
