This dress would be absolutely perfect for a retro/earthy outdoor wedding. A nature preserve or rustic woods would perfectly offset this cotton dress. Yeah, it’s an eBay dress, but the price is right for a bride on a budget.

Oh my, I adore this lovely little bridal headband by Little White Dresser on Etsy – it’s lovely and sweet – vintage-y and of-the-moment. Oh, and the price – the “true star” headband is only $18! Headbands and flowing hair are such a gorgeous bridal look – I’m glad the combination is so popular right now.
I highly recommend you check out this and the other fabulous items in the shop.

Another great ebay find – this 50s cocktail dress would look swell on the right bride. I’m envisioning a supper-club feel for the reception, with a fantastic pillbox hat or a sweet birdcage veil with feathered details.
This beauty is listed at $65 – or best offer.

ebay is loaded with fabulous wedding dresses, from high-end to cheap, awesome-retro dresses to brand new frocks. I’m going to start highlighting some of the fabulous non-traditional dresses I find. Hopefully I can help a bride or two find a fabulous dress for a fantastic price. And ladies, if you do use an ebay dress or non traditional dress for your wedding, or even your rehearsal, please send a few photos to me, I’d love to feature your wedding!
Here’s the first of many – listed for only $80!

I found this gallery online and just fell in love with the hairstyle that one of the brides is wearing. Their fabulous photographer (Closed Circle Photography) actually captured it at several angles, so it shouldn’t be too hard for my stylist (the amazingly fabulous Michelle J.) to replicate (of course with our own little twist).
I have a feeling it’ll look amazing with my modified-birdcage from Myra Kim!

Having a vintage wedding? These shoes could be perfect..
The 2 1/4 heel means you can dance all night without cramping ankles
The pointed toe and sweet bow can peep out from under your gown without giving too much away
The leather sole will let you bust a move without wiping out
And, these beauties come in this gorgeous vintage buff or black.
Price = Under $90 with shipping
Update: Brilliant Web Sleuth Erica found these similar shoes — for nearly 1/2 the price!
They’re Caparros, and they’re on dsw.com for only $50!
Ooh, and they are available in nude, silver, black, white and ivory! Sweet.

If I were aiming for a retro-styled wedding, I know exactly where I’d look for my dress.
I love Santephie James, not just because she does custom work, not just because she gives women the opportunity to love their body (she has a large range of sizes), but because these dresses are vintage-inspired dream.
I almost wish I was planning a sock-hop inspired wedding, or something with a retro feel, because I would simply HAVE to order.
